Maarif Education & Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission Partnership

Maarif Education has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission to strengthen collaboration and support the Kingdom's cultural sector — activating joint initiatives and opening new avenues for literary, publishing, and translation activities.

Dr. Abdullatif Alwasel, CEO of the Commission, affirmed that the agreement reflects the Commission's commitment to building strategic partnerships with the education sector, noting that investing in students' creative capabilities and giving them opportunities to engage in cultural and literary activities helps discover talent and refine skills — enriching the Kingdom's cultural landscape.

Dr. Tahani Aljafari, Maarif's Chief Academic Officer, added: "Literature and translation aren't extracurricular add-ons — they're part of how a student's intellectual identity takes shape. This partnership gives us a credible national framework to embed that dimension more deeply and sustainably into the learning journey."

The collaboration includes cultural initiatives and programs, volunteer opportunities for Maarif students and staff, and workshops supporting students' extracurricular activities.
