Strategic Partnership with Brighton College

Maarif Education is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Brighton College, one of the United Kingdom’s most distinguished independent schools. The Sunday Times named Brighton College UK School of the Decade and ranked it first among international campuses; in 2026, it ranked second in Britain for A-Level results.

Under the partnership, the first Brighton College Riyadh will open in 2028, followed by a second school in 2030. They will become the fifteenth and sixteenth schools in Brighton College’s global family—spanning the UK, UAE, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam—and its first schools in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership was announced at a ceremony at the British Embassy in Riyadh, hosted by Her Excellency Alice Burt, Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Saudi Arabia. His Excellency Dr. Hossam Zaman, Chairman of the Board of Maarif Education, attended alongside senior education leaders, representatives of government entities and national and international organizations, and private-sector and business leaders.

This partnership reflects Maarif’s ambition to give families across the Kingdom access to exceptional British education grounded in academic excellence, character development and belief in every student’s potential.
